Of Ballots and Bills
So, uh, President Bush might not be on the Illinois ballot in November?
If you're Ed Gillespe, Chair of the RNC, how do you manage to screw that one up for your incumbent candidate? Because I don't think it's necessarily the state legislature's fault that the GOP convention didn't get scheduled until after the deadline -- and maybe it's just me, but it seems pretty arrogant to then expect the legislature to pass remedial legislation conforming to your calendar just do you don't have to change your plans...
