MATRIX REVOLUTIONS… what does one say? That it had more holes than Swiss cheese (um, if an EMP weapon is a good thing to have around, wouldn’t they keep one inside Zion, as a last-ditch measure)? That it ignored what could have been the best, most satisfying plot twist from RELOADED and instead made another TERMINATOR movie without Governor Schwarzenegger? That it relegated wonderful actors to background reactions and platitudes while the rest of the movie went off somewhere else? That it abandons the central conceit of the Matrix itself? That it provides a very disappointing conclusion to what was once the most promising and inventive mainstream Hollywood sci-fi film in years?
Yeah, you could say all of those things. But I still liked it.
