• Viva Casa del Dahlberg

We are out of the apartment and into the house, finally and permanently. Chez Dahlberg is no more; viva Casa del Dahlberg.

Pictures tonight. For those that I haven’t already hit with the information — new address and phone number available upon request.

  • Test Redux

Formatting this thing is kind of a pain, but I may have a handle on it.

  • Testing… one, two…

Blogger’s acting all wonky, even with the new interface.

  • Good News of the Day, Pt II

Who would have thought it was that easy to order long distance service?

  • Good News of the Day, Pt. I:

Voice mail waiting from Dad when I got back from lunch. He’s through the surgery and fine.

  • Whoops.

    Orrin Hatch: Software Pirate?

    11:56 AM Jun. 19, 2003 PT

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) suggested Tuesday that people who download copyright materials from the Internet should have their computers automatically destroyed.

But Hatch himself is using unlicensed software on his official website, which presumably would qualify his computer to be smoked by the system he proposes.

The senator’s site makes extensive use of a JavaScript menu system developed by Milonic Solutions, a software company based in the United Kingdom. The copyright-protected code has not been licensed for use on Hatch’s website.

“It’s an unlicensed copy,” said Andy Woolley, who runs Milonic. “It’s very unfortunate for him because of those comments he made.”

Orrin Hatch is, of course, a musician in his own right, having received more than $18,000 in royalties last year for his various and sundry compositions.

Stuff like this makes me smile.

  • Apparently, Columbus Needs a Mountain.

I don’t really know what to say about this, other than the CD they’ve produced appears to be a nice local compilation.

  • Found while I was searching for a song title for my sister this morning:

    WORLD PARTY

International Party to Establish the World Government

Word Party was founded in order to establish the World Government. World Party is composed of branches in the world. Headquarters and President have not been decided yet. The branches are listed in the Branch List. This site is administered by World Party Japan. Major policies of World Party are as follows.

    Respect for the United Nations

As we can know from the bombing on Afghanistan, USA, the most powerful country in the world, does not respect the United Nations. We can say that the respect for United Nations is the first step to the world democracy.

    Establishment of World Government

The basic benefits from the World Government are as follows.

    1. World Government can reduce or prevent the war and so the destruction by war is reduced or prevented.

    2. World Government can reduce the military expenditure.

    3. Fluctuation of exchange rate will be removed because the World Central Bank will issue the international common currency.

Therefore, establishing the World Government is a political policy but, at the same time, it is the most effective economic policy. Especially, these benefits are important for developing countries.

oh oh oh oh there is so much more. Clicky.
