Funny: Sarah emails me yesterday, to say that she wished she had seen my non-recommendation for BLACK HAWK DOWN, below, before she went to see the movie.

Just goes to show you, kids. You should read and listen to every word I say. 🙂

Playing Catchup:

Saw BLACK HAWK DOWN on Friday night with some friends. I’m not sure what movie the critics who are all singing the praises of BHD saw, but it sure wasn’t the one I saw. See it if you really want to experience two hours of constant realistic gunfire. Me, I’ll go to a firing range for that.

Valerie has been doing the commuting thing lately. I didn’t think it would start so early — and I’ll wager that she didn’t, either — but domestic life has been fairly interesting, so far. 🙂 (And she has yet to actually open up the Columbus office, to boot, so this is pure commuting. It’s kind of wearing on her; I hope that she’ll be able to start working from here soon so that she doesn’t have quite so much driving to do through the week…)

Didn’t get a chance to fix this last night, but I need to make a correction to the links section — Ronda’s site should be BinkieGirl.com, not BinkieGirl.org.

Ronda, of course, is the lovely girlygirl of my bestest pal, PJ, and is a huge champ in her own right. Just showin’ the love.

Still monkeying with the layout of this thing, but most of the links should be functional by now. Check out the new and improved pictures section. (And I still need to find a good way to link to this.)

An update, of sorts. I have negelected this for far too long, now…

So. Here’s where we stand:

1) I passed the bar exam and was sworn in on November 13, 2001. Fear my legal mojo.

2) There are now a scant TWENTY-NINE days until my — our — wedding, and things are… well, things are busy. We got a lot of stuff done early, but there’s still lots more to do before Christmas.

3) Missed the comic con this past weekend in Columbus, but I hear tell that it was a lot of fun. Anyone reading this go?

4) SPY GAME is a damn good movie. And OCEAN’S 11 is out next week. Hee!

5) The world is obviously a different place than it was back in August when I last updated this thing, but I’m determined not to let this coming month be any less exciting than it promises to be. This is gonna be GREAT.
